I’ve been thinking about getting a dog. My kids would definitely enjoy having a pup in the house. The only thing that’s holding me back from getting one is the thought of how hard it is to maintain a pet. Dogs especially are so hard to maintain. Every now and then they need to be walked and cleaned. Having a cat and two kids is hard enough for us what more if we add a dog. Another thing is we are on a tight budget right now and really can’t afford to buy dog supplies. Maybe next time when we get a bigger place it would be easier to have a dog.
