Chatty Woman…

Yesterday I had my CBC and urinalysis test I didn’t have the chance to do it after my last visit with my OB two weeks ago because I had to wait for my Card Insurance that I just received it 5 days ago, I think. So anyways, I think I’m going to like the St. Joseph hospital. All the staff there are approachable and nice. The one who took some blood in my arms is black American lady, she’s a lovable chatty woman. She keeps talking to me though I barely I understood her accent. I hardly understand black American accent they speak so fast and there pronunciation is kinda different from white, you know what I mean. When she noticed that I don’t reply that much to what she says…

she said “you know what sometimes I feel that I’m talking to myself”

That made me laugh hehehe. She was talking about how the hospital receptionist should have screened me or something. She complained that she was very tired and she wanted to go home to rest because she needs to come back to work 4 in the morning. That is what she talked about all the time and I didn’t know what to tell her and besides I’m still not comfortable speaking with americans.

So, this is what I replied to her “hmm… how long have you been working today?”

She replied “Since morning, Don’t worry about me girl I’m ok I’m just pissed off with others who doesn’t do their work properly”

After that she still kept talking to me, she wants to see Yuna on our next visit. She’s nice and friendly though she talks too much hehehe Luvski said that’s really the way Americans are

We will be back this coming Tuesday for my ultrasound. I don’t think I’m gonna see her again coz she’s only in-charge in the laboratory.

P.S. I bought a nasal spray for my dry nose, its non-medicated so nothing to worry about

I know what you mean, at first ganun rin ako noon, pero after a month ren naging comfortable rin ako, believe me you’ll be a chatty woman yourself, too in no time. :grin: I was just like you when I was pregnant, all I did was smile since yeah tama ka mga itim mabilis magsalita masyadong mga slang diba? pero masasanay ka ren. magiging madaldal ka ren, once you begin to work there makakahalubilo mo marami mga kano kaya masasanay ka ren.

LOL.. ako naman, pag may nakikipagusap sakin, I try to talk too. Kahit pa smile smile and yes no oh really that’s great oh no hHAHAHA. Pero yup, nung una, and up til now naman paminsan, I don’t feel comfortable talking kasi feeling ko mamaemental block ako pag nagsalita ako. LOL!!!!

lol cute. i like when they’re chatty. basta lang hindi masyadong nosy. sometimes they get like that sa mga clinics because they feel they can just get all in your business.

Hehe, nung nagkaron akong patient na american natakot ako, kasi nga ng daldal nya eh, at wala din akong maintindihan, hehe! tapos hindi ako makasagot kasi nga na me-mental block ako biglang, uncomfortable yung feeling.

Ayun, nakita ko yung baby’s countdown, medyo ganyan na ba ang itsura ng baby mo ate scart, na form na ang kanyang katawan, hehe! sana magpicture ka ulit, para makita na namin itsura mong buntis, hehe, halata na ba?

Hehe. Ganun talaga sila ate scart. Dun sa work ko may black woman din. Super daldal talaga. Pero mabait. hehe. Saka nung una din parang ang hirap makipagusap sa kanila since they seem to talk fast. Pero masasanay ka din dyan eventually. Kelangan mo din masanay kasi dyan na kayo nakatira. Hehe. Pero di na talaga maiiwasan na wala tayo masabi minsan. Di naman kasi natin native tounge ang english. Hehe. Saka tulad ng sinabi ni Ate Sarj, yes no really will come in handy. Haha :D
