Gay Pride ‘07

Today is the 38th Annual Chicago Pride Parade, happens during last Sunday of June in Chicago. Its pride parade for Gays, Lesbians, straight, not sure, not particular. According to some information I gathered, it’s a day to celebrate being you and everyone is welcome. Chicago is the nation’s first government-recognized gay village, yep, there so many of them here in our neighborhood. When I first saw some of them holding hands and kissing while walking, it really surprised me but it’s common to others and I think I’ll get used to it. Indeed, we should give them equal rights

The parade was truly fun. They gave people tons of necklace beads in different colors, rainbow colors in particular (the event’s symbolic color). I got two color beads red and blue while Yuna got one necklace color green and a toy ball and oh! Luvski got two condoms too hehehe While the parade went on I noticed somethin from Yuna. She would cover her eyes when the-almost-naked-guys are near us, she’s so cute and that’s what others say too like “aawwww, she’s so cute and adorable!”

Too bad, we weren’t able to finish the parade because we have to go home before 5pm Luvs needs to go to work. All I can say about that kind of event, for the first timer like me? It’s totally amusing…

We had that parade in Oslo too, but i didn’t saw it this year but last year. Really great pics you have taken!

Nako, nakalimutan ko icheck kung kelan ang gay parade dito! Sa tapat ng school ko yung main road nung parade eh! Hehehe! Gusto ko makanood!!! 2 years ko ng na miss yun ano!! This year dapat makakita na ako!

Nakita ko yung mga pictures mo.. effective ang super zoom ah! Hahaha! Can’t wait to get my 12xzoom Canon S3. Gusto ko S5 kasi mas malaki screen and may face detection, kaso naman ang mahal!!!!
