I don’t really like the idea of sending the elders in care homes. When my parents get older I would never send them to such an organization instead I will take care of them personally no matter what. yeah, i agree din po sis..mas mabuti na tayong mag alaga sa mga magulang natin. siguro nga masyadong busy sila sa work pero mas importante naman po ang family d ba? kasi sila din nag palaki satin

i agree w/ you. i work at a nursing home. and.. i just can’t see me sending my parents to one of those. understaffed, underpaid and angry people there! hahaha.
i will take care of my parents when they can’t care for themselves.

Tama yan sis.. dapat tayong mga anak ang mismong mag alaga sa ating mga magulang kapag sila’y matanda na.. para naman makabawi tayo sa pag aalaga nila noong bata pa tayo..

Hindi ko kaya pabayan na lng ng ganoon yung mga magulang ko sa mga care homes..

yea. i totally agree with what you’ve said. ibang iba talaga ang kultura ng mga Pinoy. we care so much for our loved ones, and since di naman masyado busy-han ang mga tao sa Pinas, we choose to take care of our elders rather than send them to care homes.
