This is how i did my random links… it’s not a plugin as i thought at first, it’s just a simple wordpress template tag

‘13,14′ - category ID (i have included two category IDs and that’s for my dailies and other links).

‘< li>,< /li >’ - Line breaks after each link item.

‘< br / > & nbsp; & raquo;’ - a new line for my link description.

‘FALSE’ - does not show image link.

‘rand’ - sort randomly.

‘TRUE’ - to show link description.

‘FALSE’ - does not show link rating.

‘5′ - limit to the number of links.

‘TRUE’ - shows last-updated timestamp.

‘TRUE’ - echoes the results.
