Scientology? huh?
Have you ever heard of Scientology? Scientology is a new religious movement based on a system of beliefs, teachings, practices, and rituals that was originated as a philosophy in 1952 by science fiction author L. Ron Hubbard. There are many kinds of religious movements, but unlike the rest Scientology has been very controversial. This religious movement caught my attention when I read some articles about it mainly because most of their beliefs are unusual.
Just by understanding the religions name “Scientology” the first thing that comes in our mind is Science. Yes! This religious movement does not believe in God or anything that has to do with God. To the followers of Scientology, everything has something to do with science. One of their bizarre belief is they worship an alien from a different planet named “Xenu”. Anyway, Scientology practices are structured in a certain form of series or levels. I believe there are eight levels. Level one followers are the beginners while level 8 followers are more like the high priest. By the time a follower reaches level three they are told a story about Xenu and how he came to be their lord. Alright, I’ll tell you the story so sit comfortably and relax…
Once upon a time about75 million years ago an alien galactic leader named Xenu was in charge of all the planets in this galaxy including our very own planet Earth. Now Xenu had a problem. The 76 planets he controlled were all over populated. He wanted to get rid of the over population so he had a plan.
Xenu took over complete control with the help of renegades to defeat the good people and the Loyal Officers. Then with the help of psychiatrists he called in billions of people for income tax inspections where they were instead given injections of alcohol and glycol mixed to paralyze them. Then they were put into space planes.
These planes then flew to planet Earth where the paralyzed people were stacked around the bases of volcanoes in their hundreds of billions. When they had finished stacking them around then bombs were lowered into the volcanoes. Xenu then detonated all the bombs at the same time and everyone was killed.
The story doesn’t end there though. Since everyone has a soul (called a “thetan” in this story) then you have to trick souls into not coming back again. So while the hundreds of billions of souls were being blown around by the nuclear winds he had special electronic traps that caught all the souls in electronic beams (the electronic beams were sticky like fly-paper).
After he had captured all these souls he had them packed into boxes and taken to a few huge cinemas. There all the souls had to spend days watching special 3D motion pictures that told them what life should be like and many confusing things. In this film they were shown false pictures and told they were God, The Devil and Christ. In the story this process is called “implanting”.
When the films ended and the souls left the cinema these souls started to stick together because since they had all seen the same film they thought they were the same people. They clustered in groups of a few thousand. Now because there were only a few living bodies left they stayed as clusters and inhabited these bodies.
As for Xenu, the Loyal Officers finally overthrew him and they locked him away in a mountain on one of the planets. He is kept in by a force-field powered by an eternal battery and Xenu is still alive today.
That is the end of the story. And so today everyone is full of these clusters of souls called “body thetans”. And if we are to be a free soul then we have to remove all these “body thetans” through Scientology and pay lots of money to do so. And the only reason people believe in God and Christ was because it was in the film their body thetans saw 75 million years ago.
Do you think the story is stupid? Well, So do I! However, this is the core belief of the religion Scientology so no matter how stupid, unusual, strange, odd, weird, peculiar, creepy, bizarre it sounds we should all respect it. Some loyal followers of Scientology are also big Hollywood names like…Tom Criuse, Katie Holmes, John Trovolta, Kristie Alley and much more… by the way here is a pic of Xenu the alien galactic leader…What do you think??? :scratchin::roll:

:28:this sh*t is bananas ate! the only reason it gained alot of attention dahil sa mga hollywood people that support it. with all due respect, the people who follow this have lives as superficial as their religion… true na dapat respetuhin ang bawat relihiyon that exists today. then again is a religion that has a core made of aliens and money collections just to free one’s soul worth respecting? It’s like saying it’s okay to bribe the law and cover the truth…
Scientology is satirical and somewhat oxymoronic to me… kasi paano ka makakahanap ng spiritual relief kung kelangan monng magbayad ng sangkatutak na pera para lang maging “free” ung soul mo di ba?
IMHO lang naman po te…

Huge religious differences… I think that’s one of the major reasons why the ravishing Nicole Kidman divorced Tom.
Anyway, when I watch Tom Cruise movies, I try not to think of his Scientology issues. Why? Because he’s a freaking good actor. He makes you forget about his out-of-this-planet and weird sides of being a Scientologist. Gotta love his roles, acting prowess, and movies, at least…
To each his own, I guess.
