Finally, upgraded my WP to 2.3 but manually. I love the native tagging support with Tag Cloud widget. Actually there’s a lot of new features but I don’t want to enumerate since it’s all for geeky speak. A lot of the plugins are incompatible but there are more that are compatible since most plugins are updated. My Extended Live Archive, Wordpress Mobile and Headline Image wont work. Also, according to the Wordpress forum there’s some other wordpress theme that are not compatible. Anyways, I like 2.3 coz it loads much faster and there are also changes to the incoming links as to where before they’re linked to technorati and now to google. By the way, here are the list of Plugin/Plugins WP2.3 Compatibility. Check your plugins if they are on the list

I removed some plugins but also added some like:

• Tiger Style Admin - More organized admin interface.
• Batch Categories - This is what I’ve been looking for a long time now. Sometimes I keep changing categories and sometimes by mistake I would put a post to a wrong category. This is a big help for me since it’s easier to move multiple posts to another category.
• Instant Upgrade - This is the best for people like me who is so lazy to upgrade manually. It works like fantastico with one simple click your wordpress is upgraded to the latest version. But take note it wont backup your file automatically so you still need to backup your files, if something bad happens you can reinstall your old wp version using this plugin.

Also, don’t mind my Headline Images plugins coz i’m still trying to find a way on how it will work on my new WP version. Oh before I forgot, my comment area is now being fixed you can now add your comment in every entry I made and I’ll be waiting for your comments coz I miss all your comments
