After reading your post - it made me realise how expensive it is to live in Sydney. A US$800 per month here is a 30yo fibro house about 45km away from the city. Expect to fork out 2-4 times that if you want to be within 15-20km on a decent 2b/r apt. Hay - buhay!!!!
