My baby big!
When we had our baby last April 9th my eldest was so excited to see the baby but when she saw us holding and kissing the baby she was a little bit jealous. We could say it because she gave us an angry look and then she said… “Love kita Mom!” then hid in her room and cried. I feel sad everytime she’s like that. There was also a time that she was so stubborn showing signs of being a rebel. It was really hard for me to adjust because I don’t know what to expect since this is my first time to have a baby that has a sibling. I really try my best to give them the same attention that they need… I didn’t know that it would be hard specially with a young adult like Yuna. It’s hard for me especially I don’t really have that kind of patience.
But now, I think Yuna understands everything like how her little sister needs more attention than her right now. She helps in little ways by throwing the diaper in the garbage and getting a new one. She sometimes comfort the baby when it cries. I let her touch the baby and carry the baby with my assistance so that she will feel that she’s still part of the family and we still love her.
Our big baby princess… Dad and Mom still loves you 
You know what… sometimes I cry everytime I see Yuna’s baby pictures and afraid that one day we can’t kiss and hug her anymore like what we always do. When they become teenagers they start to feel embarassed to show affection to they’re parents, right?

Aww, kids really go through that kind of adjustment whenever a new baby is born in the family. Just constantly reassure her of your love and being a big sister will be more fun for her.

oo nga eh ehhehe pano nga kaya yung ganoon? usually sa mga boys instead kesa sa girls. kasi yung mga nephews ko ayaw na nilang nagppa-kiss kahit di pa naman totally bata pa. embarassing nga kasi din sa part nila daw. lolz oh well. ganoon talaga. sibling rivalry na kagad? di naman nagseselos lang din yan kasi nga dati sya lang ang bigay attention nyo. masasanay din sya. Fair naman ang pagmamahal nyo sa kids nyo so no problem.

talagang ganyan, medyo magseselos pero that is the right thing to do. give her responsibilities w/ regards to taking care of the baby. eventually she will realized that they are loved equally. she’s just seeking attention, that will be up to you mga parents to constantly explain to her the new situation.
ang hirap talaga no? pero kaya mo yan, daming hardships but the rewards are priceless! advance Happy Mom’s day! mwaaahh!
