Our Thanksgiving…
So sorry for not updating and visiting your blogs though I visit some of you but wasn’t able to leave comments. I’ll catch up with you guys after I’m done packing for my Christmas presents to my family and friends in the Philippines. I have to send the package before the first week of December and thank god I’m almost done though I still need to get my father’s request. He wants me to buy him power tools, I bought the 2 items but 3 more items to go. Just so you all know, my father has a little machine shop in our home, his a machinist and I have no idea what Drill Bits, Hacksaw Blade, Hand Tap and Die, Drill Chuck are? Not to mention the sizes which is so confusing. I just hope I bought the right items. I don’t want it gone wasted because the tools are a little expensive. Before I forget, thank you Val for giving me the VS Cologne Set for that I have additional items to give to my long time friends in the Philippines.
Anyways, we spent Thanksgiving at Valerie’s place and take note it’s my first Thanksgiving here in the US so every “first time” is memorable to me that’s why I didn’t forget to take a pictures of us but unfortunately Valerie wasn’t able to participate because she’s still busy preparing foods and also Sonny refused to join us because he’s still wearing his uniform, he just got home from work. But nevertheless we celebrated our Thanksgiving complete and we enjoyed the night. I’ve posted some pictures and here they are…
I always wonder what is Thanksgiving so to ease my curiosity, I researched about it and here’s what I got from Wiki — Thanksgiving Day is a traditional North American holiday to give thanks for the things that one has at the conclusion of the harvest season. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States, it’s always a Thursday and on the second Monday of October in Canada. Thanksgiving meals are traditionally family events where certain kinds of food are served. First and foremost, turkey is the featured item in most Thanksgiving feasts (so much so that Thanksgiving is sometimes facetiously referred to as “Turkey Day”).
My tummy is 20 weeks and I’m getting bigger

Val’s Turkey. She cooked it very yum and I like the crispiness

I cooked all of these with Luvki’s assistance. I cooked Rice Cake (Biko), Sweet Rice with ginger (Puto Maya) and Stuffed Milkfish (Rellenong Bangus)

On the other hand, Bears are still clinging and won the game today in final OT score 37 against Denver-34. Wohooo! I’m so happy, vivan los Osos!!!
